Refund policy
Consumer Guarantees
At Golden Stumps Sports, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. For minor failures, we reserve the right to offer a repair instead of a refund.
You are not entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if:
• You simply changed your mind, found the product cheaper elsewhere, or decided you no longer want or need the product. (Refer to the "Change of Mind Returns" section for exceptions.)
• The issue was caused by misuse, neglect, or improper care.
• You were made aware of the problem before purchasing.
• You requested a service against Golden Stumps Sports' advice.
Faulty Product Returns
At Golden Stumps Sports, we pride ourselves on providing the highest quality products. If you receive a defective product, please contact us within 48 hours to start the returns process.
To assist in assessing the issue, you may be asked to provide photos or additional details about the defect. If confirmed to be faulty, we will repair, replace, or refund the product, depending on the nature of the defect. For major faults, you may choose your preferred remedy: replacement, repair, or refund.
If no defect is found, the product is out of warranty, or the claim does not meet ACL criteria, we will return the item to you at your expense or dispose of it if preferred. Products damaged due to fair wear and tear, misuse, or failure to follow manufacturer instructions are not considered faulty.
Change of Mind Returns
We understand that sometimes you may change your mind. At Golden Stumps Sports, you have 30 days to return items for a store credit or exchange (subject to availability) if they are in a saleable condition, with proof of purchase, and meet the following criteria:
• Items must be in their original packaging with all accessories, manuals, and tags intact.
• Items must be unworn, unused, and unassembled.
• Clothing must include original ticketing and hygiene stickers (if applicable).
Please note:
• Shipping costs are non-refundable.
• Price differences for exchange items will require payment or will be refunded as store credit, minus any shipping costs.
• Gift cards, bonus items, or bundled products must be returned with the original purchase, or their value will be deducted.
We cannot process store credits or ship new items until the original item is received and deemed acceptable for return.
Exclusions to Change of Mind Returns
We cannot accept change-of-mind returns for the following items unless required by law:
• Items returned after 30 days.
• Products not in their original, saleable condition.
• Clearance or sale items.
• Hygiene-sensitive items like compression wear, socks, or abdominal guards.
• Customized or prepared items such as engraved cricket bats or knocked-in bats.
• Gift vouchers (non-refundable or redeemable for cash).
• Merchant or card transaction fees for Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) purchases.
